Have some photo-related questions? I can help!
For those who need a little bit extra help to get to the next level, I have created these interactive, live tutoring classes. These photography tuition sessions are conducted online, you can do them at the comfort of your couch, and yes, they work on the road and your porch too, with mobile platforms as long as you have an internet connection.
What is it?
A one-to-one online tutoring session with me. Through the course of the photo tours and travels I’ve led, I taught and inspired photographers of all skill levels to make better photos. Now, with these online photography sessions, we can continue and extend the learning opportunities.
How does it work?
These tutoring sessions are conducted online by using the Zoom conferencing platform. To access it, all you need is a computer or tablet connected to the internet.
Once you book your session, you’ll receive an email with a link to join the meeting. All you need to do is show up on the selected day and time.
Who are these for?
Photographers of all skill levels who want or need some extra help with anything photography related.
What are the covered topics?
My area of expertise is travel and landscape photography. Although this covers a wide range of subjects, like street, portraiture, culture, architecture, wildlife, night photography, etc., please keep it in mind when booking your session. The following are the topics we can chat about; however, if you need help with something different, contact me, and we can speak about it more accurately.
1) Image Reviews
This one is plain simple; you send me your images, I will give you my opinion and some ideas of how to improve them if needed. Many photographers, including myself and other pros, sometimes need some direction and second opinion for the work we produce.
Image reviews and critiques are highly subjective, so you’ll get more of my vision in terms of subject matter and creativity. However, other things, like exposure, processing, even composition, are more technical, and I can help you hone them. Prepare your images, upload them at the time of booking, and we’ll review them together.
2) Lightroom Tips and Techniques
Lightroom is a powerful tool if you know how to use it properly. It’s a robust database, image processor, and now with CC an excellent tool for editing on the go and traveling. I process ninety percent of my images in Lightroom, and I use minimal photoshop. In this session, we can cover several aspects of Lightroom, and it’s different modules. Keep in mind that Lightroom is an extensive software, and it could take more than one session to cover all the modules and your questions.
3) Camera Settings
I currently shoot Fuji professional Cameras, but I am also very well versed with Nikon products. I can advise you on how to set up, Fuji X, and GFX bodies and any DSRL Nikon camera. If you need some help to prepare your cameras in general or for any specific shooting scenario, this session is for you. I can help you go over the many menus, dials, buttons, and get you ready for action. Make sure you indicate your camera and model when booking this session so I can get prepared for the consultation.
4) General Photography Questions
This one is an open session, where we can talk about anything of the above within the allotted time, and other topics like gear, travel, stock photography, flash, etc.
100% Money-Back Guarantee.
Each session is 50 minutes long and will be full of information. However, if at the end of the program, for any reason, you feel you haven’t received your money’s worth, just let me know, and I will refund your money.
